THE RECOVERY JOURNEY: Food and shelter are only the beginning. Our program is designed to help men and women who are fighting addiction and homelessness, to become sober and responsible members of society. Their needs are as diverse as the population we serve. We strive to meet each person where he or she is with the love of God. The program is structured, in a way that leads to wholeness for the individual !!!
Stop Addiction New England is free to anyone who is struggling with life controlling issues.
Stop Addiction New England is not government funded or backed in anyway. We rely on donations from people who support our mission and want to see those struggling in addiction SET FREE!
Hello Kevin,
My name is Diane from Berlin NH -I understand you are the Director of the program S.A.N.E.
I stopped at Walmart in Gorham last week and Joseph was there at the table for the resources available for your program.
I stopped in and shared with him that I recently lost my son Chris to the disease of addiction.
He was compassionate and we shared very deep moments of sharing. He offered to pray with me and I took this gift and he prayed. A calmness came over me that I haven’t felt since I lost my son in July of this year.
I wanted to let you know Joseph and the other two young men at the other entry door that day are doing Gods work…what they are doing is beyond the table of resources they offer..They offered hope to a grieving mother and I wanted to share that with you as the Director.
Thank you to all the people in this program offering a bright light to those that choose to cross paths with these warriors.
God is good and as one of the young men said…Jesus sees us! He saw me that day.
With a grateful heart, Diane
